Unprotected sex ke baad itching ko ignore nahi karna chahiye, lekin sirf itching ke basis par STI/STD confirm nahi ki ja sakti. Itching fungal infection, irritation ya kisi sexually transmitted infection ki wajah se bhi ho sakti hai. Kai STIs mein symptoms bahut mild hote hain ya symptoms bilkul nahi hote, isliye testing important hai.
Sabse pehle bina diagnosis ke antibiotic, antifungal ya koi genital cream khud se start na karein. Aapko doctor se consult karke symptoms aur recent sexual exposure ke basis par appropriate examination aur STI tests karwane chahiye. Zarurat ke according urine, blood ya swab tests kiye ja sakte hain.
Jab tak cause clear na ho, sexual contact avoid karna ya condom ka properly use karna safer rahega. Agar genital sores/blisters, unusual discharge, urine karte waqt burning/pain, severe pain ya fever bhi ho, to consult mein delay na karein.
Agar unprotected exposure pichhle 72 hours ke andar hua hai aur HIV exposure ka possibility hai, to HIV PEP ke baare mein urgent medical consultation lena important hai, kyunki PEP time-sensitive hoti hai.
